The Next Step In My Leadership Journey

In the next 6 to 12 months, I hope I have more oppurtunities to be in a leadership role, wheter it be through the school or working for a company. Even though that may not happen, I think one thing I can work on is making sure that my credibility is established when I go to college. Everything I have done in high school really means nothing now considering I'm going to know only a few kids this upcoming school year. Some of the things I think I'm going to take away from the class are emotional intelligence and learning how when to lead or when to follow. Emotional intelligence is something that doesn't seem that important, but has a deep impact on my ability as a leader. Lastly, even though it's been a leadership class, I need to know when I need to show my leadership skills or when to be a follower. Hopefully I will be able to accomplish these few things in the next year.
